This group seeks to be a ‘pole in the movement’ against capitalist globalization, a movement it sees as currently dominated by left-liberals and social democrats. In addition to anti-capitalism and anti-statism, the FRAC points of unity also include struggles against racism, ‘heterosexism, homophobia and the simplicity of the dual gender system’ (See < http://www.frac.ws/>). Like NEFAC, however, strong elements of hegemonic thinking remain in this group’s commitment to the creation of a ‘new society’ through a totalizing revolution, on what seems to be a Bakuninist model.
